Diabete: sempre di più usano i device tecnologici
In occasione del 29esimo Congresso Nazionale della Sid (Società Italiana di Diabetologia) è stato presentato uno studio, svolto dalla stessa Sid insieme alla Amd (Associazione Medici Diabetologi) e alla Siedp (Società Italiana di Endocrinologia e Diabetologia) sull’utilizzo del monitoraggio continuo della glicemia. Dall’indagine, che ha coinvolto 500mila pazienti, è emerso che il 40% delle persone con diabete di tipo 1 usa sistemi di monitoraggio in continuo. Di questi, però, più della metà ha scelto di non ricorrere più agli aghi per misurare, preferendo i sensori che si basano sulla tecnologia Cgm. (foto www.pixabay.com)
