Parkinson: studiando il sonno le diagnosi saranno più precoci?
Avrà inizio a marzo una ricerca coordinata dall’Università di Pisa (e a cui prenderanno parte anche le Università di Amsterdam e Friburgo) che, nell’arco di pochi anni, potrebbe permettere di diagnosticare la malattia di Parkinson nelle sue prime fasi grazie a uno studio personalizzato del sonno. Per riprodurre il ritmo sonno-veglia e individuare le caratteristiche tipiche dei difetti dei neuroni riconducibili ai problemi del sonno collegati a tale patologia saranno usati, per la prima volta al mondo, degli organoidi cerebrali.
